​I am a half Italian, half Dutch woman with ties to the United States and Surinam. I have searched a long time for ways to express my emotions and feelings. I found it in writing and painting. In my articles and stories I show you my views of life and the world around me; the crazy world I created, the person I am, the life I live, the people I meet, the people I love and the people I lost. Hope, passion, sarcasm, humor, pain and love.



I write poems, short stories, articles and am in the process of writing a book.

My articles are mainly on specific criminal law cases, because some of my dearest friends are in prison or on death row in the United States and my heart really goes out to them. There still is a lot of injustice within the judicial system. You can be assured that if I write about a specific case, I have done extensive research on the case, the evidence and the trial itself. I will not state someone is innocent if I would not truly believe it. In the case of Brett Hartmann and Paul Zumot it was not any different. Both their families did not expect me to just believe them on their word, but let me make up my mind myself based on the evidence available.
